Each training syllabus was:
About 12 Expedition Weekend's a Year
About 38 Wednesday evenings a Year
And odd days: Orienteering, Rock Climbing, Sailing, Venture Day, Seminar lectures.
My courses during 1975 to 1989 covered: Orienteering, Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing,
Mountain Rescue, River Crossings, Sea Canoeing, First Aid, Safety on Mountains,
Map Reading, Navigation at Night, Campcraft, Cooking.
Night out in: Tents, Snow Holes, Bivouac.
The trips took me to: North Wales, South Wales, Peak District, Lake District,
Dartmoor and H.M.S. Royal Arthur, Royal Naval Leadership School, Wilts.
Weekend trips started Friday night and ended Sunday night.
On Wednesday's: We had meetings to discuss the forthcoming weekend operation, Planing,
Making route cards, Checking equipment. Specialist Training of Mountaining Skills,
Guest speakers, de-briefing weekends.
